  Dr Louis F. Donaghue is a Board Certified general Orthopedic Surgeon.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pa he graduated from LaSalle
University with a B.A. degree in Biology and the Hahnemann University
with a M.D. degree.  After completing his internship at the Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia he completed a four year residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami under Dr Augusto Sarmiento.

He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and a Fellow of
the American College of Surgeons. He is a Diplomat of the National Board
of Medical Examiners.

Dr Donaghue is past president of the Bethesda Memorial Hospital Medical staff where he was also Chief of the Department of Surgery and a member of the Board of Directors of the hospital.  He continues on the medical staffs of Bethesda Memorial, JFK Memorial, Wellington Regional, Palms West and Delray Community Hospitals. He is a past member of the Emergency Medical Services Council of Palm Beach County.

Dr Donaghue has practiced general Orthopedic Surgery in Palm Beach County since 1973 and now limits his practice to office Orthopedics.  His practice consists of the diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of orthopedic problems and fractures.  Patients who may need surgery are referred to the appropriate member of the group.
